The Project Manager plays a crucial role in driving project success by effectively managing resources, risks, stakeholders, and project execution to deliver results that meet or exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, resources, and budgetary requirements. This involves breaking down project deliverables into actionable tasks, estimating time and resource requirements, and creating schedules. - Resource Management:
Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget. CAD support for products, R&D initiatives, CAPEX projects, maintenance, and operations for facilities. - Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. This involves regularly assessing risks throughout the project lifecycle and implementing appropriate measures to address them. - Stakeholder Management:
Engage with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns. Foster positive relationships and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed effectively. - Communication:
Facilitate clear and effective communication among project team members and stakeholders. This includes conducting regular meetings, providing progress reports, and resolving conflicts or issues that may arise during the project. - Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of quality throughout the project by establishing processes for quality assurance and quality control. Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet project requirements and address any deviations promptly. - Change Management:
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or resources effectively by assessing impacts, obtaining approvals, and adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes while minimizing disruption. - Budget Management:
Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce project costs where possible. - Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress and performance. Regularly track KPIs and generate reports to update stakeholders on project status, achievements, and challenges. - Closure and Evaluation:
Coordinate project closure activities, including final deliverables, documentation, and stakeholder acceptance. Conduct post‑project evaluations to identify lessons learned, areas for improvement, and best practices to inform future projects. - Leadership and Team Management:
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Delegate tasks effectively, motivate team members, and resolve conflicts to ensure project success. - Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle. This includes adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.

- Degree in maintenance, engineering, or related discipline
