Senior Geologist – Underground Operations

Step into a key role as a Senior Geologist for Underground Operations at Coeur Mining. This hybrid position will leverage your skills in geological interpretation and resource optimization.

In your role, you will lead the geological team while reporting to the Chief Geologist, ensuring effective operation of underground geological functions. Focus on maximizing the recovery of reserves and identifying new resources through your knowledge of geological modeling and ore control. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement best practices for resource modeling and ore control

• Collaborate with the Chief Geologist on operational goals

• Daily interaction with Engineering and mine contractors

• Ensure accurate management of geological data

• Report on QAQC processes and results regularly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field

• 5-10 years of related mining experience

• Ability to register as GIT or P. Geo in Ontario

• Experience leading teams and mentoring staff

• Knowledge of geological software like Leapfrog desired
