• Location: B-396 Henry Street Brantford, ON N3S 7W1
• Salary: $30.00 to $36.00 hourly (negotiable) / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

2 years to less than 3 years.

Work must be completed at the physical location. Remote work is not available.

• Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
