In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of jumbo drilling equipment under the guidance of the Mine Supervisor. Your expertise will facilitate accurate development drilling, ensuring that operations comply with safety and environmental standards. You will work collaboratively with your team to monitor performance and achieve operational goals aligning with Agnico Eagle's principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate electric hydraulic jumbo drill rigs
• Monitor drill hole alignment with planned specifications
• Conduct safety inspections of mining areas and equipment
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly
• Keep precise records of drilling operations
Requirements:
• Minimum 4000 hours of experience in jumbo drilling
• Strong commitment to safety regulations
• Ability to interpret mine designs and specifications
• Experience in a cycle environment for down ramp development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
