Apply PLC automation and electrical troubleshooting skills as a Licensed Industrial Electrician at Hilton Foods Canada, working on-site in Ontario. Support reliable production through skilled maintenance and repair.
This permanent Industrial Electrician position supports a highly automated Hilton Foods production facility. You will install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems. The work includes PLC-based automation, sensors, motors, control systems, food-manufacturing equipment, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and operationalize industrial equipment using electrical drawings
- Maintain motors, sensors, servo drives, and variable frequency drives
- Troubleshoot HMIs, PLC ladder logic, and control systems
- Complete preventative maintenance, corrective work orders, and CMMS documentation
- Follow lockout/tagout, arc-flash, and plant safety procedures
- Valid Ontario 442A or 309A electrical license
- Approved apprenticeship program completion and secondary school completion
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, sensors, and controls
- Three to five years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
