This Maintenance Millwright supports a 24-hour shift production operation. The position performs inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance across machinery, automation, utilities, and manufacturing equipment. The work also includes documentation, contractor coordination, production collaboration, and tooling conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect machinery, automation, and utility systems routinely
Repair equipment and troubleshoot mechanical systems
Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and resolve operating issues
Execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Document maintenance activities and maintain spare parts inventory
Requirements:
Millwright certification or accredited apprenticeship registration
433A certification is highly desirable
Experience in high-speed manufacturing or plastics environments
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machines, and tools
Flexibility for rotating schedules, on-call activities, and overtime
Apply mechanical expertise, troubleshooting ability, and preventive maintenance knowledge to support safe plastics production in Brantford.
