- Direct patient care: admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Coordinate care with specialists, primary care, and ancillary services
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
- Respond to emergencies, run codes, provide ventilator management
- Document care in EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
- Patient/family education and guidance
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- 2-3 years hospitalist experience preferred
- Rural health experience preferred but not required
- Ventilator management required
- Code team experience required
- Active, unrestricted Vermont medical license
- Valid Vermont DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- $300,000 - $350,000 annually (final compensation based on experience, education, and market competitiveness)
