Are you a compassionate Medical Oncologist looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity in a supportive community setting? Join a collaborative multidisciplinary team in Brattleboro, Vermont, where you can provide personalized, patient-centered cancer care while enjoying excellent work-life balance.

Position Highlights
  • Schedule: 2 clinic days per week ( 24 hours/week)

  • Outpatient clinic setting (day hours)

  • Rotating call schedule

  • Rotating weekends

  • Start:
    April 2026

  • Collaborative oncology & specialty support team

  • No locums or locums-to-perm

  • Must reside within 1-hour commute

Your Role

As an Oncologist, you will:

  • Diagnose and stage various cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and labs

  • Develop individualized treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation coordination)

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed

  • Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care

  • Educate and counsel patients and families throughout their cancer journey

  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, NPs, and navigators

  • Participate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives

  • Stay current with evolving oncology guidelines and advancements

  • Mentor clinical staff and contribute to departmental growth

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: $250,000 $ 350,000 annually (pro-rated based on schedule)

Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology

  • Active Vermont Medical License (prior to start)

  • Completion of accredited residency program (as required)

  • Clean malpractice history

  • NPDB self-query (within 30 days)

  • Eligible for credentialing
