Job Opportunity - Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - Southeastern Vermont

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with rotating call schedule and rotating weekends  when scheduled)

Highlights:
  • Join a 61-bed not-for-profit community hospital serving a rural population across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts
  • No procedures required - focus on comprehensive inpatient medicine
  • Collaborative team environment with specialty backup including surgeons, respiratory therapy, and Emergency Medicine physicians
  • Provide direct medical care including admissions, daily rounding, discharges, and ventilator management
  • Participate in codes, rapid response situations, and interdisciplinary clinical rounds
  • Comprehensive benefits including CME allowance, paid CME time, malpractice coverage, and retirement plan with employer contribution
Requirements:
  • MD or DO from accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active Vermont Medical License
  • DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start)
  • BLS and ACLS Certification
  • Ventilator management experience and experience running codes
  • 2-3 years Hospitalist experience highly preferred
  • Rural health experience highly preferred
  • Clean malpractice history
  • J1 visa sponsorship available (J1 candidates only)
  • Must reside within one hour of facility
