Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and wound care services
• Perform general surgical procedures including abdominal, chest, vascular, and laparoscopic surgeries
• Conduct endoscopies such as upper GI, lower GI, and colonoscopies
• Collaborate with a team of experienced CRNAs, scrub techs, and nurses
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and care in a Level 3 trauma facility

Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible MD/DO in Surgery
• Proven experience in general surgical procedures
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle diverse surgical cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with pediatric surgical procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Skills in complex or specialized surgical techniques

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of surgical residency training
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency surgical practice preferred

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing process anticipated within 60-120 days
• Must hold or be eligible for Vermont medical licensure
• No local travel or flight arrangements necessary, as local candidates preferred
• Professionally committed to maintaining certification and licensure standards

Earn a competitive hourly pay rate of $351.00, complemented by comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, licensure and certification reimbursement, and a supportive team dedicated to your success.
