Fatherhood Specialist
$24.70 - 27.23 /hour (20-25 hours/week)
The Fatherhood Specialist reports to the Parent Child Center Manager and is part of our agency team, working 20-25 hours/week with a flexible schedule that includes some nights and weekends. Primary tasks are developing fatherhood community resource materials, facilitating Dedicated Dads group, and developing and implementing father and male friendly group activities. Additionally, this role coordinates with other EES staff involved with families to ensure a focus on family engagement, especially men’s issues and needs within specific families, as well as creating and organizing monthly parent education activities and materials.
A background check and fingerprinting is required along with a pre-employment physical and TB screening questionnaire.
- AA/AS degree in Human Services
- Two (2) years of experience working with men in group or individual settings
- Experience working with at-risk families
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- BA/BS degree in Human Services Two (2) years of experience working with men in group or individual settings

Early Education Services is part of the Windham Southeast School District, offering Early Head Start (birth–3) and Head Start (3–5) services to young children and families. We are also one of the state's 15 Parent Child Centers.
