Pro Care Therapy is seeking a dedicated Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher to join a school district near Brattleboro, Vermont for a full-time opportunity. This position will support an elementary caseload, providing specialized instruction and educational support to students with autism in a collaborative school environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students reach their academic, social, and behavioral goals through individualized instruction and evidence-based interventions. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside special education professionals, therapists, administrators, and families to create meaningful educational experiences for students.

  • Hourly Pay: $25 $ 40/hour (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs.
  • Support social, behavioral, communication, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, support staff, and families.
  • Track student progress and maintain required documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications
  • Active Special Education Teaching License or Certification.
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
