For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Responsibilities- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
- Provide individualized assistance to students.
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
- Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility with class sizes typically ranging from 8 to 15 students.
Full-time, year-round role in Brattleboro, VT. 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. A generous benefits package is provided, including paid time off (vacation and sick time), federal holidays, paid school breaks, health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid family leave options, 401(k), employer-sponsored life insurance, and annual tuition reimbursement grants.
Qualifications- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Vermont state teaching license
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable transportation
