Position: Full Time Teacher

Learn Well is committed to changing the lives of the millions of students in the U.S. who are dealing with behavioral health issues. For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.

Position

We are seeking two passionate and creative teachers to join our team in Brattleboro, VT on a full-time basis for the school year. This position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to K-12 school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
  • Provide individualized assistance to students and regularly communicate progress as needed.
  • Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
  • Support classroom operations in small groups with class sizes typically ranging from 8 to 15 students.

Position entails a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.

Qualifications
  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
  • VT state teaching license
  • Comfortable working with K-12 students
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
  • Reliable transportation
