Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health (Nights) Brattleboro VT

* Effective 6/24/2024, any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease. Please include the candidates address or driver's license in the submission packet.
Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery.

Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.). The Co-Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery.
Requirement description :

• 5 years of experience as an RN required (recent experience must be within the last 3 months)
  - REQUIRED
• Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume
  - REQUIRED
• Must have peds/child/adolescent psych experience listed in resume
  - REQUIRED
• Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts
  - REQUIRED
• Will consider first time travelers

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES
• RTO cannot exceed 7 days (RTO will not be approved for 12/22-1/5)
• Psych skills checklist (within the last year)
• 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
• Certifications - certifications don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
• License - confirm they are willing and eligible to obtain (please include this in the profile)
• Driver's license or candidates address must be included in the submission packet (35 miles or less will result in rate decrease)

CPI - offered onsite; no need to confirm at time of submission
