Position: Temp - RN - Behavioral Health - Inpatient (Days) Brattleboro VT
ADMISSIONS NURSE!
MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND EXPERIENCED!

* Effective 6/24/2024, any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease. Please include the candidates address or driver's license in the submission packet.

Provides initial clinical review of referral for services at the Brattleboro Retreat in the Admissions department. In collaboration with the physician, the Admissions Nurse provides guidance and clinical information to inform the most appropriate placement of acute patient referrals. Participates and/or leads performance improvement activities that improve patient care and financial performance.
Requirement description :

• 5 years of experience as an RN required but will consider first time travelers
  - REQUIRED
• Must be willing to float to other units and take charge RN shifts
  - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in behavioral health - Preferred
• 2 years of bed placement supervision - Preferred

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES
• RTO cannot exceed 7 days
• Psych skills checklist (within the last year)
• 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
• Certifications - certifications don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
• License - confirm they are willing and eligible to obtain (please include this in the profile)
• COVID vaccination and booster - no longer required but please included in submission if vaccinated
• Driver's license or candidates address must be included in the submission packet (35 miles or less will result in rate decrease)
