Title
Registered Nurse - Adult Forensics

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Guaranteed

Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Active Vermont or Compact license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- 5 years of experience as an RN (inpatient psychiatric experience must be within the last 3 months)
- Recent adult forensics experience in the last 3 months
- Psych skills checklist from within the last year
- 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment
- Driver's license or candidate's address included in submission

Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provide clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Float to other units and take charge shifts as needed.
- Provide high-quality intervention for co-occurring psychiatric issues.

Compliance / Notes
- RTO cannot exceed 7 days.
- CPI training is offered onsite.
- Blackout dates for RTO: 4/27-5/8, 5/22-5/26, 6/22-7/7, 8/10-8/14.
