Family Engagement Specialist

Our work is challenging, but we strive to create strong teams and love to learn and laugh together!

• facilitating family meetings and providing in-home support to strengthen families in their homes
• coaching parents to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody, and supporting them to meet the needs of their children in the moment
• calling extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
• Two years of human services experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check are required
• Your own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets our coverage limits is required

• Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. We are hoping for flexibility to support parents’ individual schedules. We support a healthy work/life balance in this job.

• $22.00 - $25.75 hourly, dependent upon experience and education.
