We offer a dedicated Weekend Shift and are seeking team members to join this new schedule.
Schedule & Compensation- Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Shift Length:
Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours worked) - Pay:
Employees will be paid for 40 hours - Shift Differential: 30% weekend shift premium will apply to all hours worked
- Hours:
Tentatively 05:00 AM – 05:30 PM
The shift is designed to support multiple areas of the operation. Employees selected for these positions must be willing to be flexible, adaptable, and multi-skilled.
Working Areas- Any machining area
- Finishing operations
- Other production areas as business needs require
- Operate machines assigned after set-up by area supervisor, Lead person or Setup Person.
- Make adjustments (e.g., change tool offsets) as allowed to produce parts in accordance with tolerances and specifications on production sketches.
- Inspect parts to assure compliance using micrometers, verniers, gauges, fixtures, and other measuring equipment.
- Recognize and report need for adjustments and tool sharpening.
- Report any problems, difficulties, or unusual circumstances immediately to supervision.
- Maintain good machine practices at all times.
- Maintain production quality and quantity.
- Maintain accurate production cards, records or other data as required.
- Maintain area, equipment, and tools in neat, orderly condition.
- Observe all company policies, rules, and regulations including safety and security.
- Perform other duties as required, assigned, or directed.
- High School or GED preferred
- 3 months - 1 year or more of experience
- Machining experienced preferred but not required
- Capacity to understand measurement and inspection devices
- Able to interpret blueprints
- Understand part placement to achieve optimum efficiency
