Job Overview

Our manufacturing client in Brattleboro VT is seeking to hire several Packagers for a temporary opportunity. This is an excellent chance to join a team-oriented production environment where you'll play an important role in ensuring quality products reach customers safely and efficiently. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals looking to build manufacturing experience.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating day or night schedule
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40lbs throughout the shift in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment that may be cold, wet, or noisy
  • Previous packaging, production, warehouse, or pallet jack experience is helpful, but training is available
Benefits
  • Pay: $18.50/hour (Days) and $21.28/hour (Nights, including 15% shift differential)
  • Temporary opportunity - approximately 2-4 months
  • Schedule:

    12-hour rotating shifts
  • Days: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Nights: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Hands-on training and valuable manufacturing experience
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Package products using automated equipment and hand-packing methods
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Communicate with team members to support efficient production operations
  • Prepare work areas and materials for incoming shifts
  • Monitor equipment and report potential issues or improvements
  • Move products and materials throughout the production area, including pallet jack operation after training
  • Support the production team with additional tasks as needed
