About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Adult Psychiatric Inpatient Unit – Vermont

Schedule:
Every other weekend; possible on-call responsibilities
Highlights:
Specialized Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program focusing on dual diagnosis care
Comprehensive treatment approach combining addiction recovery with psychiatric stabilization
Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment with clinical supervision responsibilities
24-hour acute care setting for adults ages 18+ with complex mental health and substance use disorders
Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia, and withdrawal management
Contract includes RTO blackout dates: 4/27-5/8, 5/22-5/26, 6/22-7/7, 8/10-8/14
Requirements:
Active Vermont or Compact State nursing license
5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Recent adult psychiatric inpatient experience within the last 3 months (required)
American Heart Association BLS certification
Willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts
Resume must detail psychiatric experience and age groups served
Completed psychiatric skills checklist from within the last year
Two supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment
RTO requests cannot exceed 7 days
