Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care in a birthing center environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner's team in a level one low-risk birth unit.

As a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit, you will play a crucial role in assessing the health status of individuals and groups, establishing nursing diagnoses, and implementing care plans. You will work with obstetrical patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, as well as participate in newborn stabilization and normal newborn care. Your expertise in C-sections, epidurals, and electronic charting will be highly valued in this dynamic environment.

• Assess and document patient health status and responses to interventions
• Establish nursing diagnoses and plan goals to meet healthcare needs
• Prescribe and implement nursing interventions
• Provide care for obstetrical patients and newborns
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain proficiency in venipuncture and electronic charting
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont
• Active American Health Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred:
  Experience with 400+ deliveries a year, C-sections, epidurals
• Preferred:
  Travel experience
• Preferred:
  Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications
