Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) in Brattleboro, VT. Travel contract, 13 weeks, nightly 3 days x 12 hours, pay range $2,800 to $2,866 per week, start ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Assess health status of individuals and groups, establishing nursing diagnoses and identifying goals to meet healthcare needs.
  • Prescribe nursing interventions, implement the plan of care, and evaluate and document responses to interventions.
  • Provide single-room maternity care for obstetrical patients including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Assist with Cesarean births and recover patients in the Birthing Center.
  • Care for clean female surgical cases, newborn stabilization, and normal newborn care.
  • Support pediatric patients during the perinatal period.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of current LDRP experience required (experience with 400+ deliveries per year preferred).
  • Active Registered Nurse license by the State of Vermont.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with C-Sections, epidurals, electronic charting, and venipuncture preferred.
  • Travel experience highly preferred.
  • Active Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications highly preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain AFM, NRP, and STABLE during onboarding if not already certified.
