Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse
As part of a collaborative, dynamic, multidisciplinary team, the PCU RN provides direct patient care, delegating those interventions which may be performed by others, and takes a lead role in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care with a focus on restoring and promoting patient health and well-being, and partners with patients, families, and the care team in the planning and coordination of care.
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 23-bed inpatient unit serving a diverse patient population with acute medical and surgical needs, including those requiring advanced monitoring and assessment.
Submission Requirements:
- 2 years of PCU experience - REQUIRED
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips - REQUIRED
- Previous acute care experience
- Preferred - Travel experience
- Preferred

- 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
- Certifications - don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
