Mod/Severe Educational Specialist
Under the direction of the school principal or designee, provide an instructional program for students with moderate to severe disabilities in classroom and community-based settings designed to offer students opportunities to become active participants in home, school, and community life. The role of the Mod/Severe Educational Specialist is to provide instruction and ensure progress towards meeting student's instructional goals.
The following documents must be submitted with the application in order to be considered:
- Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Credential to provide services in Moderate/Severe Disabilities or Extensive Support Needs
- Resume
- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed and dated within six (6) months
- Copy of Credentials
- Copy of Transcripts
Teachers new to the district shall be allowed up to eight (8) years of service credit on the salary schedule, employment is contingent upon DOJ and TB clearance.
