RN NICU per diem

Overview

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for patients within an assigned unit. Coordinates care provided throughout the hospital and cooperates with other members of the health care team to meet the total needs of patients.

• Provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care across the hospital and collaborate with the health care team to meet patients’ needs.

• Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting (preferred) with successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence. Prior charge nurse experience is a plus.

• Current licensure to practice registered nursing in the State of California.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications as required by the department. These certifications must be completed before the 90‑day provisional period and prior to being assigned to full patient care in the applicable area (level 3 care).
