We are currently looking for a
*** Plant Purchasing Manager
*** to join our team in
** Miszewo, Poland.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
** Ensure Timely and Cost-Effective Purchasing
*** Secure raw materials, components, and services in line with production schedules and directions from central Procurement.
* Supervise and backup raw materials purchasing planner position
* Achieve optimal MRP settings and stock levels.
** Maintain Budgetary Compliance
*** Monitor and control plant expenses to stay within approved budgets.
* Identify and report cost variances promptly, proposing corrective actions.
** Accurate process and system maintenance
*** Coordinating direct and indirect purchasing process for the plant
* Coordinating spends approval process for the plant
* Coordinating month end close purchasing and product costing related activities and plant budget execution
* Accounts Payable invoices coding for the plant
** Compliance and Risk Management
*** Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in plant level procurement.
* Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning.

Requirements:
** Education – preferred fields of study:
** Management, Logistics, Economics, Finance, Production Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanics and Machine Construction, or related fields.  Additional courses/certifications in the area of purchasing or supply chain management are welcome.
** Technical skills:
** Ability to work with data and cost analysis.  Knowledge of MS Excel.  Fluent Polish and English.  Understanding of production processes and internal logistics (production planning, MRP, lead time, inventory control).
** Behavioral skills:
** Focus on results, savings, and process optimization.  Ability to work  in a dynamic production environment.  Ability to work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams (production, logistics, quality, R&D).  Proactivity, initiative.  Very good work organization.
