12:00am-8:30am $25+ M-F Pro Resources is looking for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor that leads overnight production operations at a company in Brazil, IN. This role provides leadership to production employees, oversees daily operations, resolves production issues, and serves as the primary point of contact during the shift. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all third-shift production activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
Monitor production schedules, batch processing, equipment performance, and material usage to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot production and equipment issues while coordinating repairs with the maintenance team. Ensure accurate completion of production records, batch documentation, and shift reports. Enforce all safety policies, PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and OSHA/environmental regulations. Investigate safety incidents, quality concerns, and process deviations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Verify products meet quality specifications and ensure operators follow SOPs and batch instructions. Lead, coach, train, and develop production employees while maintaining accountability for safety, attendance, productivity, and performance. Conduct shift meetings and communicate production updates, staffing needs, downtime, and operational concerns to management and other departments. Participate in production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a chemical, industrial, or process manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Knowledge of batch manufacturing processes, production scheduling, manufacturing KPIs, and OSHA safety requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Skills Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work in varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial environments. A respirator is required in designated production areas; employees must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper fit.
