Custodian

Description Position Overview

A Britt Aero Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the manufacturing facility. A Custodian is responsible to stock supplies and keep a clean working environment throughout the office and manufacturing floor, through a variety of cleaning tasks.

• Clean and stock restroom facilities.
• Empty waste containers.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch areas of the manufacturing facility.
• Perform general shop wide cleaning activities.
• Aid in the spill and overflow of coolant management.
• Aid operators in the control of metal shavings and chips, as necessary, including but not limited to unloading gaylord and hoppers as required.
• Other duties as instructed.

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Must demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Must show an attention to detail.
• Must be able to work efficiently as an individual as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to operate or learn to operate a Fork Truck per safety procedures.
