Shift Production Supervisor
VALiNTRY is seeking Shift and 3rd Shift Production Supervisors who will be responsible for leading all overnight production operations within a chemical manufacturing facility. This position ensures production is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and quality standards. The supervisor provides hands-on leadership to production personnel, drives continuous improvement, and serves as the primary point of contact for all production-related activities during the shift.
We are currently hiring for two Shift Production Supervisor positions:
Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour (W-2)

Key Responsibilities Production Operations- Lead and supervise all third-shift manufacturing operations.
- Execute production schedules while meeting safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Monitor batch processing, equipment performance, material utilization, and production output.
- Optimize staffing and resources to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot production issues, process deviations, and equipment-related concerns.
- Ensure batch records, production documentation, and operational logs are completed accurately and on time.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and operational performance.
- Foster a strong safety-first culture throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, company safety policies, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine safety observations, inspections, and shift audits.
- Enforce proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements and safe operating practices.
- Ensure all products consistently meet established quality specifications.
- Verify compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch instructions, and work instructions.
- Coordinate closely with Quality Control and Laboratory personnel regarding testing, product release, and quality issues.
- Lead investigations into quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop production operators and team leads.
- Conduct daily shift meetings covering safety, production goals, quality expectations, and operational updates.
- Train and cross-train employees to strengthen workforce flexibility and capability.
- Promote accountability for safety, attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Participate in employee performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary processes.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to prioritize repairs and minimize production interruptions.
- Ensure operators perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Verify equipment is properly cleaned, prepared, and available for production.
Prepare comprehensive shift reports including:
- Production performance
- Equipment downtime
- Maintenance activities
- Safety observations and incidents
- Quality concerns
- Staffing updates
Communicate effectively with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Management to ensure seamless shift transitions and operational continuity. Participate in production meetings and support plant initiatives as required.
Qualifications Education- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related technical field is a plus.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a chemical, industrial, or process manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
