Responsibilities- Operate handheld pneumatic and electric power tools, including drills, riveters, and impact wrenches, to assemble complex components.
- Handle diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, and composites to construct durable finished assemblies.
- Manage material flow within the production area using overhead cranes, forklifts, and manual carts to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure all products adhere to strict specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, proactively identifying potential hazards to support our safety-first culture.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to operate various pneumatic and electric power tools safely.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting tape measures and other precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver large assemblies by pushing, pulling, and positioning components accurately.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technical processes and retain complex assembly procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
