The primary mission of the Senior Manager Consumer Insights GCB, P&G is to design, implement, and analyse consumer tests for key clients in Brazil. You will fuel fragrance creation by identifying and connecting consumer needs with product development focusing on, but not limited to, home care products and applications. As a consumer research expert, you will implement best in class research methods that provide a fundamental understanding of the home care market, consumers, benchmarks and fragrance submissions to anticipate and answer development and commercial needs.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary Brazil-focused team that includes Marketers, Fragrance Development Managers, Perfumers and Account Leads, working together on a variety of home care brands.

Your key responsibilities
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative CI studies in Brazil, while adhering to global CI standards.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on the status of category plans and PLU plans to key stakeholders.
  • Be the consumer insights expert for category-specific discussions with senior clients and the first point of contact for category-specific consumer insights questions from regional and global key stakeholders regarding Brazil.
  • Generate key insights on fragrances and consumers by monitoring, connecting the dots, and sharing learnings from global studies to promote business solutions. Connecting proactive and reactive studies with analysis that extracts the most value for development and marketing teams. Actively participating in PLU strategies and identifying opportunities. Work closely with GCB cross-functional teams to ensure robust CI plans and strategies for the category and PLU.
  • Efficiently manage and challenge external suppliers to ensure maximum return on investment.

You bring
  • Minimally a bachelor's degree required in either Consumer/Market Research, Consumer Science, Market Research, Psychology or Analytics or related field.
  • Experience in market research, consumer insights and strategy, brand development, product development and innovation etc. on the supply side or client side that encompass all phases of the research process from inception (i.e., questionnaire/discussion guide design, sampling, supplier negotiation) to execution (i.e. fieldwork management) and communication (i.e. data analysis and presentation of results to key stakeholders).
  • Ease, enthusiasm and expertise conducting the minutia of research design and analysis, as well as big picture thinking that connects different data points into a coherent, compelling story for internal clients and high level clients.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple ongoing projects and priorities.
  • A self‑starter and team player, you have a desire to be part of a highly creative team in a fast‑paced, competitive and inspiring fragrance industry.
