Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support our accounting team on a temporary basis for 3-6 months
, with potential for extension. This role will play a key part in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and lease accounting under ASC 842
. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to step in quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Lead and support lease accounting activities in compliance with ASC 842
  , including maintenance of lease schedules and related disclosures
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate and in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Review balance sheet and income statement fluctuations; prepare variance analyses
• Provide guidance and review work of staff accountants and senior accountants as needed
• Assist with audit support, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
• Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, AP/AR, and operational teams
• Support ad hoc accounting projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  , including time in an Accounting Manager or similar lead role
• Required:
  Hands‑on experience with ASC 842 (lease accounting)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Prior experience managing or reviewing month‑end close
• Experience working in mid‑size to large organizations preferred
• ERP system experience (Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, or similar strongly preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt in a temporary/consultative capacity

• CPA or CPA‑track
• Public accounting or PE‑backed company experience
• Prior interim or consulting assignments
