Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Brea, California. This role requires someone who can efficiently handle a high volume of invoice processing while ensuring accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining organized workflows and supporting the overall accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.

- Perform three-way matching to ensure invoices align with purchase orders and receipts.

- Reconcile account discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.

- Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.

- Enter and update data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

- Verify and process invoices in compliance with company policies.

- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP for accounting tasks.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.

- Maintain organized documentation and support audits when necessary.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.

- Proficiency with accounting software such as Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high volumes of invoices.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred, but not required.
