Senior Accounting Manager Job Brea area,California USA,Accounting

One of Century Group's manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team full-time. This position will supervise a team of three with potential growth. You will be responsible for US GAAP accounting and reporting, pulling month end close data, partnering with the finance department for reporting. This role is located in Brea, CA with unlimited PTO.

Job Description:

Manage the audit process with the external auditors to provide a timely and successful audit engagement as it relates to the operating company.
Ensuring the timely preparation of journal entries
Evaluating prepaids and accruals
Maintaining reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Lead the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to enhance the efficiency of the team's work flow, while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff

Requirements:

CPA license required
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related
10+ years of Accounting or Finance experience
7 years of global accounting firm experience
5+ years of managerial experience
