Accounting Analyst II – Global Consolidations & North America Accounting

Reports to the Senior Manager of Global Consolidations and North America Accounting and is part of the Finance and Accounting Organization at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Brea, CA (onsite).

• Manage multiple general ledger accounts, including accruals, and general closing activities.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries and reconciliations, and support accurate financial close processes.
• Collaborate with various departments globally to obtain and review supporting documents and processes for SOX audits.
• Identify, recommend, and actively participate in business process improvement opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 0‑2 years of experience.
• General accounting experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements, including documentation, testing, and evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and meet established project deadlines.

• General ledger or public accounting experience from a Big4 or mid‑tier firm.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Experience with accounting systems using Oracle and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Annual salary range: $70,000 – $80,000. The range may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus or incentive pay.
