Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our daily accounting operations with a specialized focus on Accounts Payable function. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, executing month-end and year-end closing cycles, and maintaining accuracy across assigned balance sheet accounts. Additionally, you will manage day-to-day AP workflows, assist in forecasting cash needs, and leverage AI tools to drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting.

You will also lead or assist in finance/accounting projects that support senior management’s decision-making.

• Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate coding, timely vendor payments, and maintenance of the AP balances.
• Monitor and reconcile daily bank and cash transactions. Track bank balances to support short-term cash planning and liquidity forecasting.
• Assist in the month-end closing process to ensure timely financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information for monthly reports and financial analysis.
• Analyze significant variances and provide insights to senior management.
• Provide support during internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules and work papers and perform FS / TB / GL line and specific account detail reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows to improve data integrity and reporting speed.
• Perform additional accounting/finance projects and analyses assigned.

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Net Suite), advanced Excel, and Power BI.
• Experience with inventory and cost management and cycle counts is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
