Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization and support the day-to-day accounts payable function. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments, and assisting with month-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Review invoices for proper approvals and coding.
• Prepare and process weekly check, ACH, and wire payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, distribution, logistics, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing and vendor management.
• Knowledge of three-way matching and purchase order systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
