Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $33.00 to $38.00 per hour.

Manage accounts payable activities by processing invoices maintaining vendor records and ensuring timely payments.

Support month end and year end close processes through journal entries reconciliations and financial reporting activities.

Monitor cash transactions and account balances while assisting with forecasting and financial planning efforts.

Analyze financial results and variances to provide meaningful insights for management decision making.

Assist with audits process improvements and special accounting projects that support business objectives.

A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.

3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to accounts payable and general ledger functions.

Demonstrate proficiency with enterprise accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.

Possess experience preparing reconciliations journal entries and supporting financial reporting activities.

Maintain the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial data and resolve accounting issues.

Maintain exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when processing transactions and preparing reports.

Communicate effectively with management vendors and cross functional business partners.

Bring experience with inventory accounting cost analysis or inventory management activities considered beneficial.
