Scheduling Coordinator
At Infusion for Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients! We believe in delivering high-quality healthcare services with compassion and empathy. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This is a newly created role designed to help us continue to grow and scale our organization and credentialing efforts.
We are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to support our patient care department.
This is a full-time, 5 days a week position, onsite at our Brea HQ office.
Compensation: $22-$26/hr DOE + Benefits.
Job SummaryThe Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for answering high volume incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual. They may also assist patients with scheduling appointments, providing information about services offered at the center, and addressing any concerns or complaints they may have. In addition, the scheduling coordinator may be responsible for maintaining patient records and updating information in the center's database.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Handling high volume incoming calls from patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers and directing them to the correct department
- Assist with scheduling appointments, answering questions about Infusion for Health
- Understands and abides by HIPAA policies and procedures
- Makes outbound calls to no-shows, reschedules, and confirms appointments
- Data entry
- Knowledge of Outlook and Teams
- Works closely with internal departments to ensure scheduling guidelines are followed
- High school diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
- 6+ months of Call Center experience
- The ability to navigate Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work with computers and enter data quickly and accurately
- Effective and polite communication skills / excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
