Project Administrator II – Brea, CA

Join Trane Technologies’ Contracting group as a Project Administrator II, supporting multiple projects ranging from early planning to closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring contract compliance and successful delivery.
  • Coordinate transition of projects from Sales to Operations and work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other staff.
  • Manage procurement activities, including material ordering, purchase orders, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Coordinate monthly customer invoicing and maintain accurate project cost records.
  • Maintain project documentation and support general administrative functions for the operations process.
  • Communicate with customers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to resolve project issues.
  • Support labor compliance activities, including California prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to five (5) years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, independent work style.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Experience with financial systems and construction project administration is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and document management; construction management software experience is helpful.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required.

Compensation

Annual base salary range: $57,300.00 – $80,919.99 (hourly equivalent).
