Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to manage day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while aligning with project estimates and scope.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day‑to‑day site operations from mobilization through project completion
  • Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure productivity, quality, and accountability
  • Perform limited hands‑on field tasks as needed to support crews and ensure complete and timely installation of project deliverables
  • Execute work in accordance with project scope, drawings, specifications, and estimates
  • Track labor hours vs. budgeted hours and report variances to the Project Manager
  • Monitor production rates and ensure alignment with estimated assumptions
  • Provide field‑driven production data and performance feedback to the estimating team to support cost database refinement and improved bid accuracy
  • Develop and manage short‑term lookahead schedules (2–3 weeks)
  • Coordinate subcontractors, utility providers, inspections, and material deliveries
  • Coordinate directly with utility companies and agencies to ensure alignment, approvals, and schedule compliance
  • Proactively identify and resolve field conflicts to avoid delays
  • Attend, coordinate, and schedule pre‑construction activities and meetings, ensuring readiness for field execution
  • Provide input on logistics, sequencing, and constructability during preconstruction
  • Capture time‑ and date‑stamped photos of project progress and upload to Microsoft Teams
  • Maintain daily reports/logs including labor, production, site conditions, and progress updates
  • Track material usage and verify against estimates and takeoffs
  • Identify and document scope gaps, field changes, and cost impacts
  • Prepare and provide supporting documentation for RFIs and change orders
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding schedule, cost, and field conditions
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications
  • Conduct inspections, manage punch lists, and drive timely project closeout
  • Enforce jobsite safety compliance in accordance with OSHA and company standards
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings and daily toolbox talks
  • Identify and mitigate jobsite hazards
  • Ensure ongoing jobsite housekeeping, maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard‑free
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Field Supervisor in commercial or infrastructure construction
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgets, and cost control
  • Experience managing subcontractors and self‑perform crews
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and takeoffs
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) and document management tools (e.g., Bluebeam)
  • Ability to review, mark up, and present PDF drawings and project documents
  • Strong written communication skills, including clear, professional email correspondence with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI requirements, including compliance, inspections, documentation, and coordination on regulated projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Additional Information

Pay range: $90,000‑$120,000 DOE
