Position

Construction Manager

Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Construction Manager to oversee new‑store construction projects and manage ongoing maintenance for existing locations. This role operates in a fast‑paced environment and requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts across the construction lifecycle. The Construction Manager will guide the construction team to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at a high standard of quality.

Duties
  • Oversee new‑store construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct onsite visits and site surveys to monitor progress, resolve issues, and assess location feasibility.
  • Manage maintenance planning and execution for existing stores, including delegation of repair requests.
  • Coordinate new‑store layouts and construction activities with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors.
  • Review and approve contracts, prepare budget/spending analyses, and identify opportunities to improve construction and procurement processes.
Working Hours / Working Style

9:00‑18:00 exempt, Hybrid, possibility of full attendance in the future.

Working Location

Brea, CA. Office will relocate to the LA/Orange County border area in 2026 Spring.

Salary/Benefits

$76K~81K. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO (10 days in the first year).

Holidays

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. This role requires regular weekend work and may include work on holidays based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in any of the following fields: business development, construction, design, or project management.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction or facilities management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and action plans.
  • Japanese or Spanish language ability is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • AutoCAD 2D experience is highly desirable.
