Worship Director​/Pastor - Brea

The Worship Director/Pastor is passionate about worship, leadership and shepherding the local church. As the Worship Director/Pastor, you will play a pivotal role in leading our church family in corporate and personal worship. You will lead engaging and authentic worship experiences, develop the volunteer team, and support the campus pastor at the local campus.

• Oversee the worship team, guiding spiritual growth, musical development, and community collaboration.
• Provide spiritual care and guidance: prayer, encouragement, and fostering a culture of worship that reflects church values.
• Oversee onboarding and auditioning: assess musical ability, heart for worship, and alignment with the team’s mission.
• Conduct weekly rehearsals and training sessions focusing on musical skills, team dynamics, and spiritual growth.
• Lead quarterly team nights for fellowship, vision casting, and worship.
• Identify and mentor emerging leaders within the worship team, and oversee the Tech Director and Music Director positions.
• Collaborate with Student Ministry staff to build, support, and guide the student worship team and conduct rehearsals.
• Assist with local campus events, leading worship at Prayer Gatherings, Celebrate Recovery, and other special services.
• Maintain engagement with the Central Worship Pastor and Saddleback Worship community for alignment and shared vision.
• Manage and train staff in systems and tools: PCO, Pro Presenter, Ableton, Google Workspace, budgeting, and credit card reconciliation.

• Experience leading worship and building worship teams with a commitment to prayer.
• Constant learner who keeps worship experiences fresh and spiritually enriching.
• Exceptional vocal and musical skills with guitar and/or other instruments.
• Experience with Ableton software for creating, editing, and running tracks.
• Ability to support and develop volunteer teams.

• Estimated pay $70,000-$72,000 per year.
