Your Role and Impact

The Graphic Designer works with the creative team and is responsible for the creation of View Sonic’s in-house artwork. This role participates in creative brainstorming, communicates effectively, and executes innovative print and digital solutions that align with the creative strategy and brand guidelines. The designer will create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver messages; design layouts including color, images and typography;

and present design concepts to clients or art directors. This role will produce on-brand graphics for media such as email design and programming (HTML5 – required), social media, digital web ads, product launches, and collateral such as brochures and data sheets. Video/animation editing experience with Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects is a plus. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver) is a must.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Strive for creative excellence in all assignments.
• Create print and digital layouts that adhere to corporate identity, color theory and typography.
• Create designs and produce illustrations that are visually appealing and meet the target audience criteria across materials.
• Ensure branding consistency across all mediums.
• Recommend new ideas to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Participate in photo shoots, purchase stock photography and perform image editing.
• Work with advertising agencies to ensure graphics meet View Sonic specifications and standards.
• Develop methods to upgrade the capability to generate graphical art.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Environment is fast-paced and may require quick shifting of focus while managing time-sensitive projects.

Your Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field.
• 3+ years related experience, preferably in the technology industry.
• Excellent design sense and knowledge of design principles.
• Advanced graphic design software expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver – required).
• Proficient knowledge of HTML

• Competency in video editing and animation using Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and consistency of usage.
• Must take direction well and work well in a team environment.

Salary: $25 USD to $31 USD per hour. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
