Position Overview

The Cabinet Pros, Inc. (TCP) is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans based on customer specifications and project requirements. Your role will directly support the design and production of high-quality cabinetry and woodworking projects, ensuring precision and excellence in every detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (Cabinet Vision) software to support cabinetry and woodworking projects.
  • Interpret architectural blueprints, sketches, and design concepts to produce accurate technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to refine designs and incorporate specific requests or changes.
  • Create cut lists, material specifications, and assembly diagrams for production teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and industry best practices in all designs.
  • Revise and update drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, files, and project documentation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting design challenges during production and installation phases.
Qualifications
  • A resume and sample drawings must be submitted.
  • Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software is a must.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in drafting and working with Cabinet Vision.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
