Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
- Lead manufacturing readiness reviews and communicate build strategies to cross?functional teams.
- Review customer drawings and documentation for manufacturability and compliance.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, tooling requirements, and process documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput.
- Analyze quality issues, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Specify, evaluate, and justify equipment, fixtures, and special processes for production.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, test engineering, and production teams.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- 7-10 years of experience in PCBA, cable assembly, or electromechanical manufacturing.
- Experience in contract manufacturing, preferably supporting military/aerospace customers.
- Strong knowledge of IPC?
A?610 and J?
STD?001 standards. - Hands?on experience with Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and MES systems (Aegis preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and lead cross?functional technical initiatives.
