** Application Engineering Manager
** We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead and support technical application engineering activities for products and solutions serving the nuclear power industry. This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear power plant systems, including the application, operation, and integration of valves, actuators, and related control systems.

You will combine technical expertise, customer-facing engineering experience, and leadership skills to support business growth, work with engineering resources, and ensure successful proposal execution.

** Salary Range**: $160,000 - $190,000

** Your Challenge:
*** Lead and manage a team of application engineers supporting nuclear power generation customers and projects.
* Provide technical leadership for the selection, sizing, specification, and application of valves, actuators, and related equipment.
* Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, sales teams, and nuclear utilities.
* Review customer specifications, engineering requirements, and regulatory standards to develop compliant technical solutions.
* Support proposal development, bid reviews, technical presentations, and contract negotiations.
* Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to ensure the successful execution of customer requirements.
* Evaluate plant system requirements, including Code, safety-related, auxiliary, and balance-of-plant systems.
* Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear industry standards, codes, and quality requirements.
* Mentor and develop application engineering team members while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in customer meetings, technical conferences, and industry events as required.
* Periodic travel (approximately 10–25%) may be required for customer meetings, site visits, training, and industry events.

* What You Bring:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in nuclear power generation, power plant equipment, industrial automation, fluid control systems, or related industries.
* Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and plant operations.
* Experience with control valves, isolation valves, safety-related valves, actuators, instrumentation, and associated control systems.
* Experience reviewing technical specifications, drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
* Strong customer-facing and technical communication skills.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering teams preferred
* Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance programs and regulatory requirements preferred
* Experience supporting commercial nuclear power plants, SMR technologies, or nuclear EPC projects preferred
* Familiarity with industry standards and codes applicable to nuclear and power generation equipment preferred
