Job Details

What You'll Do

• Own NPI Projects End-to-End:
  Lead new product introduction from concept through production launch. Develop project plans, schedules, and technical deliverables — and drive them across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain without losing momentum.
• Be the Technical Face to Customers:
  Serve as the primary engineering contact throughout product development and production support. You'll attend design reviews, present solutions, and earn customer confidence every step of the way.
• Get Hands-On with Tooling & Injection Molding:
  Define mold tooling requirements, collaborate with toolmakers on design and validation, review mold flow analyses, and support process optimization and production qualification. This is not a desk-only role.
• Build & Maintain World-Class Documentation:
  Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, test plans, and compliance packages that meet rigorous aerospace standards and customer specifications.
• Solve Problems That Matter:
  Investigate and resolve manufacturing and quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of engineering experience in product development and manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with injection molded plastic components
• Proficiency in Solid Works, CATIA, or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Ability to create and interpret 2D drawings with GD&T
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred

• Aerospace industry experience, particularly aircraft interiors or cabin systems
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and aerospace certification requirements
• Experience with thermoplastic material selection and mold flow analysis
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
