  • Analyze actuals vs. budget/forecast and independently interpret performance drivers; proactively identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models, scenario analysis tools, and reporting templates to strengthen planning and decision support.
  • Drive core components of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles, partnering with budget owners to understand assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Manage financial data flows from ERP systems, perform advanced reconciliations, validate data quality, and resolve complex variances.
  • Partner in month‑end close activities including advanced accruals, higher complexity account reconciliations, and cross‑functional review of financial entries.
  • Provide analytical support for pricing strategy, cost optimization, business cases, capital investments, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams as well as business and functional leaders to evaluate performance and provide strategic insights.
  • Maintain strong governance over financial processes, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, audit standards and internal control requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of communication materials including scripts, presentations, Q&A prep, and financial messaging.
  • Track and summarize market and competitor developments by monitoring analyst reports, industry news, and equity markets.
  • Assist in investor targeting, tracking and communication.
  • Participate in meetings with investors and interact regularly with company executive leadership.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and serve as a trusted advisor by providing fact‑based, unbiased financial insights—even when recommendations are unpopular.
